In the Dark

There's no respite from the hauntings of the past;
I'm spinning a yarn that'll stop when I am dead;
I can hear the humming of the wheel as it turns in my head;
Its like being in like a movie that just won't end;
I wish there was a way to kill the pain;
To wash my history right down the drain.
